About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology.  We are backed by some of the best investors, sports & entertainment properties and operators in the world.  Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and >81 million reachable fans – to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Biz Ops rockstar to tackle some of the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on our organization’s strategic roadmap. This role reports directly to the Director of Strategy & Business Operations who rolls directly to Fanatics Collectibles’ Chief Strategy Officer. This Strategy & Biz Ops Associate and will simultaneously engage with several high-impact initiatives. Given the Biz Ops team’s end-to-end mandate, this role can expect to both 1) evaluate and scope potential strategic initiatives as well as 2) drive execution and ultimately ensure value capture. The ideal candidate is a highly flexible self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit. 


Within the first 6 months, you will…

  • Help drive multiple high-impact business initiatives and, together with the Director and Biz Ops Team, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
  • Set goals, report findings, deliver recommendations, and help present progress updates to the Fanatics Collectibles CSO and other key leaders
  • Work with the entire Biz Ops team to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential initiatives / opportunities on the roadmap
  • Engage with a wide array of end-consumers and channel partners to better understand industry dynamics and refine recommendations accordingly
  • Become a subject-matter-expert in all things Trading Cards! 


The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-3 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
  • Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
  • Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work across a wide range of high priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence, intellectual curiosity, ability to cut through ambiguity, and a desire to learn
